Expeditions
- Treasure Island Sailing Adventures (6 Fridays in the fall, 6 Fridays in the spring)
Students will learn sailing, kayaking, standup paddleboarding and possibly wind surfing. These sessions at Treasure Island will give the students a solid beginning in sailing and navigation skills. - Coloma Gold Rush and High Ropes Course (October 7-10)
A 4 day/3 night outdoor discovery program. - Tahoe Celestial Navigation and Winter Safety Adventure (January 16-17).
- Stargazing at Mount Tamalpais (February 6-7)
Building on our sailing work and preparing for our orienteering and outdoor survival work, we are exploring Celestial Navigation and Winter Safety skills in an overnight trip to Lake Tahoe, and one to Mount Tamalpais.

- December 11 - matinee of a Christmas Carol and back stage tour at ACT
- January 31 - astronomy field trip @California Academy of Science
- February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21 - Survival unit, where the kids will be working on outdoors skills.
- March 27-28 - Overnight campout where they put their new skills in practice!
- April 11, 18, 25 - Sailing at Treasure Island. The kids will continue where they left off with sailing in the fall.
- May 1 - Trip to the symphony lead by our music teacher Peter Granquist.
- May 9, 16, and 23 - Finish up the sailing unit.
